address identify theft and recycling initiatives
Cambridge, ON – February 18, 2008 – Shred-Tech® today announced it will use the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) Annual Conference April 2-4, 2008 in Anaheim, Calif., to unveil two new products and showcase its innovative mobile shredding trucks, mobile collection systems and plant-based information destruction systems.
A world leader in information destruction and reduction systems including mobile and plant-based shredding, Shred-Tech® plans to display five trucks – the most the company has ever exhibited at a trade show – showcase a plant-based system and participate in two presentations to share its expertise with attendees.
“We are excited about the new products that we will be showcasing,” said Shred-Tech® CEO Robert Glass. “We truly believe these new units will revolutionize the shredding business. We have made significant investments over the past several years in research and development – $12 million over the past seven years, with $2.5 million alone in 2007 – to provide our customers with top-of-the-line mobile and plant-based shredding systems.”
“For entrepreneurs,” Glass said, “Shred-Tech® has led the way in providing a proven, viable and profitable business opportunity in the growing shredding industry. We plan to make the cost of entry even more affordable.”
Shred-Tech®, a NAID conference sponsor, will also participate in two sessions:
- “Routine Maintenance – Higher Profits” on Wednesday, April 2, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. with presenter Bob Hergott, Shred-Tech® service manager.
- “How Do I Know If I Am Doing Well in the Information Destruction Business?” with featured panelist Joe Roberto, Shred-Tech® vice president, sales and marketing, on Thursday, April 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.
According to NAID Executive Director Bob Johnson, “Because of Joe Roberto’s prior experience in growing KwikShred into one of the most successful secure destruction companies ever created, and his current experience at Shred-Tech® working with hundreds of other service providers, he is more than qualified to offer a valuable perspective on the ingredients of success in our industry.”
Johnson added, “If you have not been to a NAID conference or have been contemplating attending, this will be the year to participate. Exhibitors and sponsors are still coming on board at a record pace – some representing products and services never before displayed at a NAID conference. We appreciate Shred-Tech’s continued support, sponsorship, anticipated new product launches and exhibit of five trucks. In fact, we expect a total of 17 trucks on display at NAID this year.”
