New Releases

Shred-Tech®, based in Cambridge, Ontario, has announced that it will use the 2008 National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) Conference April 2-4 in Anaheim, Calif., to unveil two new products. The company will also showcase its shredding trucks, mobile collection systems and plant-based information destruction systems at the convention.

Shred-Tech® says it plans to display five trucks, the most the company has ever exhibited at a trade show, as well as a plant-based system. The company will also participate in two presentations at the 2008 conference.

“We are excited about the new products that we will be showcasing,” Shred-Tech® CEO Robert Glass says. “We truly believe these new units will revolutionize the shredding business. We have made significant investments over the past several years in research and development—$12 million over the past seven years, with $2.5 million alone in 2007—to provide our customers with top-of-the-line mobile and plant-based shredding systems.”

Shred-Tech®, a NAID conference sponsor, will also participate in two sessions:

  • “Routine Maintenance – Higher Profits” on Wednesday, April 2, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. with presenter Bob Hergott, Shred-Tech® service manager.
  • “How Do I Know If I Am Doing Well in the Information Destruction Business?” with featured panelist Joe Roberto, Shred-Tech® vice president, sales and marketing, on Thursday, April 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.

NAID Executive Director Bob Johnson says, “Because of Joe Roberto’s prior experience growing KwikShred into one of the most successful secure destruction companies ever created and his current experience at Shred-Tech® working with hundreds of other service providers, he is more than qualified to offer a valuable perspective on the ingredients of success in our industry.”
